AI Integration & Enablement Engineer (SAP)

About the role

Billennium is seeking an experienced AI Integration & Enablement Engineer to join a strategic SAP Utilities transformation program. The role focuses on building a next‑generation billing platform based on SAP UC4G and driving AI adoption across the development squad.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement and maintain AI‑driven solutions such as agents, automations, scripts and integrations.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing SAP development and delivery processes.
• Apply AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to testing.
• Enable the squad to adopt AI‑first workflows and provide knowledge transfer.
• Develop and promote best‑practice guidelines for responsible AI usage within the SAP environment.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve productivity and delivery velocity.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience using AI tools in a professional software engineering setting.
• Practical experience with AI solutions such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude Code, or other LLM‑based code assistants.
• Ability to apply AI across multiple phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, risks and appropriate usage.
