AI & Legal Technology Officer

About the role

The AI & Legal Technology Officer leads the development and continuous improvement of Lindemann Law’s artificial intelligence capabilities. Acting as a strategic bridge between legal practice, data science, and business operations, this role ensures AI enhances the firm’s high‑level, knowledge‑based legal communication, negotiation, and cross‑border advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a firm‑wide AI strategy aligned with efficiency, accuracy, cost reduction, and client experience goals.
• Prioritize high‑value workflows, set KPIs, and measure ROI while preventing project dispersion.
• Identify, mitigate, and monitor risks related to ethics, bias, confidentiality, and security.
• Conduct competitor analysis of leading law firms and legal‑tech providers to inform tool selection.
• Develop AI‑supported platforms for venture capital transactions, startup advisory, investment structuring, and cross‑border documentation.
• Build AI‑driven research, knowledge‑management, decision‑support, negotiation, and litigation‑preparation systems.
• Redesign service offerings to focus on high‑complexity, cross‑disciplinary mandates.
• Implement governance models compliant with professional secrecy and data‑protection regulations.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience at the intersection of law and technology.
• Deep understanding of legal processes, AI/ML concepts, and data‑security requirements.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable AI projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on measurable outcomes.
