AI Security Engineer

About the role

As part of Pictet Tech’s Cyber Risk service in Geneva, you will drive AI‑powered automation to strengthen the bank’s cybersecurity operations. You’ll work on detection, incident response and the secure adoption of AI technologies across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI‑driven automation to improve detection efficiency and streamline security workflows such as alert triage, investigation, case management and reporting.
• Secure AI‑enabled technologies, including AI agents, agentic workflows, AI gateways and related platforms.
• Implement security controls and detection capabilities for AI and LLM‑based applications in collaboration with Pictet Tech teams.
• Develop and refine detection use cases for both traditional and AI‑enabled environments.
• Participate in cybersecurity investigations and incident response, feeding findings back into automation and detection improvements.
• Evaluate, integrate and operationalise emerging AI technologies within the cybersecurity ecosystem.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, software engineering, automation or a related field.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, detection engineering, incident response and security operations.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• Proficiency with infrastructure and development tools – GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, APIs and IaC tools like Terraform.
• Experience with AI technologies, including large language models, AI agents and AI‑driven automation.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills with a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Fluent in French and English, and residency in Switzerland or willingness to relocate.
