Android Developer 2026 – Switzerland

About the role

We are seeking an Android Developer to join a partner company in Switzerland. You will work on high‑performance mobile applications that serve a global user base, collaborating with product, design, backend, and QA teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications using clean, efficient, well‑documented code.
• Support the full mobile lifecycle: planning, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
• Write and execute unit and UI tests; debug and resolve issues to ensure stability and performance.
• Monitor app health with Crashlytics, ANR reports, and performance metrics, addressing technical problems proactively.
• Implement analytics tracking, feature rollouts, configuration management, and A/B testing.
• Maintain legacy codebases while introducing new features, technologies, and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work across time‑zone overlap (GMT+2 to GMT+7).

Required skills

• Kotlin and Java programming for Android.
• Android SDK and application architecture.
• Publishing apps on Google Play Store.
• Integration of third‑party libraries and APIs.
• Crashlytics, ANR reporting, and performance analysis tools.
• Firebase Analytics or similar event‑tracking platforms.
• Unit testing and UI testing frameworks.
