About the role

SeitzValve, a manufacturer of high-pressure solenoid valves for gaseous media, is looking for an Application Engineer in Wetzikon, Switzerland. The role acts as the central link between customers, the development team and the product, turning technical requirements into innovative solutions for the PET industry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and help shape design concepts in close collaboration with customers
• Own the technical specifications of valve solutions
• Work on complex development projects in an international environment
• Serve as the main contact for technical customer inquiries and new applications
• Drive new product developments in the PET sector
• Build expertise in blow molding and valve technology
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners

Required profile

• Degree in mechanical engineering or systems engineering
• Several years of experience in product development (ideally more than 5)
• Experience with technically challenging products in an industrial setting
• Ability to understand customer needs and turn them into technical solutions
• Enjoys direct customer contact and international collaboration
• Analytical, creative and entrepreneurial thinking; open and team-oriented

Required skills

• Very good German and English
• A plus: experience in PET / blow molding and knowledge of valve or fluid technology
