About the role

This three‑year apprenticeship offers you the chance to become a qualified Automated Machine Operator (CFC) within a high‑tech Swiss watch manufacturing environment. You will work on modern production and packaging equipment, ensuring optimal machine performance and contributing to high productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and set up automated production machines, including screw‑tightening and position‑verification systems.
• Monitor production lines continuously, reacting promptly to any disturbances.
• Perform basic mechanical maintenance tasks on equipment.
• Coordinate individual processes and oversee machines throughout the manufacturing cycle.
• Escalate technical issues to specialist technicians when necessary.

Required profile

• Manual dexterity and logical thinking.
• Interest in practical, technical tasks and ability to recognise and correct technical defects quickly.
• Willingness to take responsibility and work flexible, irregular hours in team shifts.
• Ability to concentrate under stress and adapt to a constantly evolving technological environment.
