Architect – Laboratory & Production Facilities (Switzerland)

About the role

We are seeking an Architect to join Exyte’s Architecture team in Switzerland, focusing on the design of laboratory and production facilities for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. The role offers exposure to complex projects and a multidisciplinary environment that supports professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning and design of laboratory and production buildings.
• Contribute to projects across SIA phases 1‑5, from concept development to detailed design.
• Develop and refine architectural concepts and design solutions.
• Prepare architectural drawings, documentation, and presentation materials.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary internal teams and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with Swiss standards, guidelines, and project requirements.
• Assist in delivering high‑quality architectural solutions that meet client needs.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture (BSc, MSc or equivalent).
• Approximately two years of professional experience, preferably within the Swiss market.
• Interest in technically complex buildings and high‑quality architectural design.
• Structured, proactive, and team‑oriented working style.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel within Switzerland.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools.
• Experience with BIM tools, preferably Revit.
