Asset & Liability Manager – Finance Treasury and Credit

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for an Asset & Liability Manager to safeguard the bank’s financial integrity. You will strategically manage assets and liabilities while supporting senior management with treasury insights.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert analysis on net interest income, FX impacts, balance‑sheet dynamics and credit topics for senior management.
• Lead performance measurement, forecasting and budgeting for the Group Treasury sub‑division.
• Design analytical tools, reporting frameworks and dashboards to support treasury decision‑making.
• Drive data‑model development and automate reporting processes for treasury and credit analytics.
• Ensure end‑to‑end execution of credit risk reporting in line with regulatory and internal governance requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise financial structures, processes and analytical capabilities.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Finance, Economics or related field; CFA or CPA desirable.
• Minimum 4 + years of experience in treasury, credit or a related financial role.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Solid understanding of treasury, balance‑sheet management, counter‑party and credit risk principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
• Experience with data‑visualisation tools such as Tableau.
• Ability to automate and standardise financial processes using digital tools.
