Asset & Liability Manager - Treasury and Credit

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for an Asset & Liability Manager (100%, f/m/d) in Zurich to safeguard the bank's financial integrity by managing assets and liabilities and supporting its financial health through proactive risk management and strategic financial planning. The role provides expert analysis on Treasury and credit topics to senior management and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse Treasury topics such as net interest income, FX impacts, balance sheet dynamics and credit-related issues for senior management and stakeholders
• Lead performance measurement, forecasting and budgeting for the Group Treasury sub-division
• Act as subject matter expert for Treasury P&L and Treasury bond portfolio and investment initiatives
• Design analytical tools, reporting frameworks and dashboards, and drive data model development and automation of reporting
• Own end-to-end credit risk reporting, including production, quality assurance and dissemination of insights to First- and Second-Line stakeholders
• Lead or support strategic projects and workstreams across Treasury and Credit
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial structures, processes and analytics

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Finance, Economics or a related field; CFA or CPA desirable
• At least 4 years of professional experience in treasury, credit or a related financial role
• Solid understanding of treasury and balance sheet management, counterparty risk and credit risk
• Experience automating and optimising financial processes and analytical workflows
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly to stakeholders

Required skills

• Financial software and MS Office, especially Excel
• Tableau considered an advantage
• Proven ability to analyse complex financial data and economic conditions
