Assistant Controller

About the role

Quantic Electronics is looking for a detail‑oriented Assistant Controller to support its financial operations. The role involves managing accounting functions, treasury activities, and ensuring regulatory compliance while collaborating across departments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with treasury operations, including cash‑flow forecasting, operational enhancements, and user administration.
• Plan and coordinate corporate month‑end closing tasks, own the monthly closing checklist, and monitor task status.
• Prepare and review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and consolidating debt, intangible asset, and equity roll‑forwards.
• Collaborate with business unit and block controllers on intercompany allocations, OneStream loads, eliminations, and reporting.
• Support audit and tax compliance activities, monitor progress, and assist the Controller as needed.
• Develop and implement SOX controls and perform technical accounting research.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently on challenging tasks without step‑by‑step instructions.

Required skills

• OneStream or similar financial consolidation software.
• Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS).
