Assistant Groups & Event Manager – 4‑day week

About the role

As Assistant Groups & Event Manager you will ensure that all event rooms are sold and that every event runs smoothly, while enjoying a 4‑day work week and flexible free time.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate events with all internal departments, providing necessary information and ensuring seamless execution.
• Translate menus and sales documents between German and English.
• Handle group enquiries for bookings of eight rooms or more, preparing quotations, contracts and invoices.
• Prepare forecasts, reports and sales analyses to support the sales team.
• Act as point of contact in the manager’s absence and draw up training and rota schedules.
• Maintain customer relationships, support sales activities and ensure compliance with hotel standards.
• Enter bookings into the system, create rooming lists and organise on‑site customer meetings and tours.
• Prepare each shift, keep the event area tidy and manage high occupancy periods.

Required profile

• Professional experience in a similar hospitality or event‑management role.
• Open, communicative personality who can stand their ground when needed.
• Enjoys working with people, inspiring teams and has a passion for food and drink.
• Fluent in German and English.
