About the role

The Assistant Banquet Manager supports the Banquet Manager in daily operations at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva, a historic luxury property on Lake Geneva. This role ensures seamless execution of banquets and events while maintaining the high standards expected by discerning guests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Banquet Manager with all daily tasks and decision‑making.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the Banquet Service when the manager is absent.
• Supervise and coordinate permanent staff, temporary workers, and external vendors.
• Maintain strong relationships with all hotel departments to ensure smooth collaboration.
• Contribute to revenue optimisation and cost control for the banquet department.
• Represent the banquet team as its first ambassador, promoting a courteous and professional atmosphere.
