About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in shaping the store’s strategy, driving sales, and delivering an exceptional client experience in a luxury retail environment. This position ensures smooth daily operations, team development, and profitability while maintaining the brand’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing store‑specific business strategies aligned with overall brand objectives.
• Analyze sales figures, KPIs and support the creation of action plans based on market calendars.
• Implement merchandising guidelines and stay informed on competitive landscape and market trends.
• Foster client relationships through clienteling strategies and ensure a personalized client experience.
• Oversee day‑to‑day store operations, floor management and adherence to company policies.
• Maintain a clean, well‑organized, and visually appealing store environment.
• Support recruitment, coaching, training and performance management of the store team.
• Drive sales performance, monitor expenses and help achieve profitability targets.
• Act as primary point of contact and manage store operations in the Store Manager’s absence.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of managerial experience in a retail environment, preferably luxury.
• Strong people‑management capabilities and ability to develop middle management.
• Solid business and sales acumen with a results‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent in French and English.
