About the role
Ascento is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to work closely with the CEO and commercial team. You will help shape the company’s relationships with global clients and drive the deployment of robotics and AI solutions at scale.
Key responsibilities
- Build and manage a strong pipeline across priority markets.
- Own the full sales cycle: outreach, qualification, meetings, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
- Deliver compelling on‑site and remote demos of Ascento’s robotic solutions.
- Gather field insights to influence product development and international go‑to‑market strategy.
- Maintain long‑term customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction throughout deployment.
Required profile
- 1‑3 years of customer‑facing experience in consulting, project management, sales or a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and relationship‑building abilities.
- Caring, curious, coachable and committed to continuous improvement.
- Persistent, structured and comfortable owning outcomes end‑to‑end.
- Passionate about robotics, AI and technology‑driven solutions.
- Fluent in English and German; additional languages a plus.
- Willingness to travel and spend time with customers in the field.
