Assistant to the CFO & Bookkeeper

About the role

We are looking for an organized and detail‑oriented CFO Assistant & Bookkeeper to support our CFO across the Alpen Group, including multiple entities such as Alpen Partners AG, Alpen Partners International AG, Goldbach Capital and FORMS Gallery. The role combines day‑to‑day bookkeeping with month‑end and year‑end support, requiring accuracy, discretion and adaptability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping for one or more entities, including invoice processing, payment runs and account reconciliations.
• Support the CFO with month‑end and year‑end closing, financial reporting and budget tracking.
• Maintain accurate general ledgers in line with Swiss accounting standards (OR).
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors and authorities as needed.
• Assist with VAT filings and other regulatory submissions.
• Provide administrative support to the CFO, including document preparation and correspondence.
• Help streamline and document bookkeeping processes as the group grows.

Required profile

• Completed commercial apprenticeship (KV) or equivalent, preferably with further accounting or finance training.
• Several years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in a financial‑services or multi‑entity environment.
• Solid knowledge of Swiss accounting principles (OR) and familiarity with FINMA‑regulated institutions is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English; French is a strong plus.
• High level of discretion and integrity.
