Assistant/Consultant Swiss Payroll – Tax & Legal

About the role

Join Deloitte's Global Employer Services team to help multinational clients manage payroll, tax and legal compliance across Switzerland. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience with end‑to‑end payroll processes and exposure to regulatory authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the full payroll cycle, including monthly processing, wage‑type reviews and social‑security audits.
• Record personnel and salary data, process direct payments via EBICS and distribute payslips.
• Develop expense policies and support withholding‑tax assessments.
• Prepare accurate monthly reports using the ELM system and interact with local tax and social‑security authorities.
• Collaborate with senior consultants to deliver compliant, efficient payroll solutions.

Required profile

• Strong numerical aptitude and solution‑oriented, team‑focused mindset.
• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, fiduciary services or related field.
• Excellent command of English and fluency in French or German; additional languages a plus.
• High affinity for technology and willingness to work with AI‑enhanced tools.

Required skills

• Proficiency with payroll systems Abacus and SAP.
• Experience using EBICS for direct payments.
• Familiarity with the ELM reporting platform.
