About the role

The World Economic Forum's Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chains (CAMSC) is hiring an Associate for a one-year grant-funded appointment, ending on 30 June 2027. The role sits at the intersection of the Global Lighthouse Network (GLN) and the Lighthouse Operating System (LOS), helping deliver GLN community engagement, application and assessment cycles and supporting practical links between GLN and LOS. It reports to the Manager leading the GLN initiative and works with GLN and LOS teams, the CAMSC Technology & Innovation team and related initiatives. The role requires on-site presence three days per week.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate the planning and delivery of GLN community programming, including the Lighthouse Explore Series, and support agendas, speakers, partner coordination, participant communications and follow-up.
  • Support GLN community management and engagement tracking in Forum systems such as Salesforce and Forum Spaces, keeping records accurate and follow-up timely.
  • Synthesize insights from events, assessments and community activity into concise materials for internal alignment and external communications.
  • Coordinate GLN application and assessment activities, including timelines, scheduling, documentation and assessor and applicant communications.
  • Support programmes that recognize and share frontier innovations from the GLN community, including research, partner outreach and launch coordination.
  • Track workplans, dependencies and deliverables, flag risks early and help ensure activities are completed to a high standard and on schedule.
  • Support coordination between GLN and LOS, connecting site experience and insights with LOS tools, learning and partner engagement.
  • Contribute to team research and programme development on advanced manufacturing and supply-chain transformation.

Required profile

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, technology, public policy or a related field; a Master's degree is an asset.
  • About 2-5 years of experience in programme or project coordination, stakeholder engagement, community management, events, research or communications; experience in manufacturing, operations, technology or innovation is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, and a collaborative, responsive style with diverse stakeholders in an international environment.

Required skills

  • Experience with Salesforce, online community platforms or productivity tools, including AI-enabled tools, is an asset.
