Associate Director, Commercial Omnichannel Strategy & Activation, Europe
Revolution Medicines · Bâle
Job description
About the role
Revolution Medicines, a global oncology company focused on RAS-addicted cancers, is hiring an Associate Director, Commercial Omnichannel Strategy & Activation, Europe. Reporting to the Executive Director, Commercial Excellence, Analytics & Insights (CE&I) Europe, the role owns the European commercial customer engagement model. It turns brand strategy, customer insights and launch priorities into customer journeys, channel choices and country activation plans, working with European and country teams. The Commercial function owns engagement strategy and activation, while IS owns the CRM and omnichannel technology.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design, delivery and improvement of the European Commercial Engagement Model and Launch Kit, including journey templates, channel guidance, approved content and activation playbooks, with country localisation.
- Own the engagement framework for congresses and launch webinars, including touchpoints, consent capture and follow-up journeys.
- Partner with country leadership teams (Country Managers, Marketing, Sales, CE&I) to co-create journeys and turn local learnings into reusable guidance.
- Define business needs for content tagging, audience segmentation and content adaptation with content owners.
- Help countries turn the Launch Kit into country activation plans through onboarding and guided sprint sessions, and coordinate ongoing support for campaigns.
- Design and optimise the European field activation framework and tools, coach country teams, and define commercial engagement KPIs with the Commercial Analytics Lead.
- Ensure country journeys and assets are ready before launch, and use performance insights to refine the engagement strategy and the Launch Kit.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or higher in life sciences, marketing, business or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years in omnichannel/digital customer engagement or commercial excellence in European pharma or biotech, including country implementation.
- Experience helping affiliates localise and execute customer journeys, and activating engagement plans ahead of major European launches.
- In-depth knowledge of the European engagement landscape, including content governance, MLR/PRC review and multi-country standards.
- Proven ability to work as a senior individual contributor in a fast-paced pre-launch environment and to influence affiliate leaders without direct authority.
- Fluency in English; an additional European language is an advantage.
Required skills
- Working knowledge of digital engagement platforms such as Veeva Engage, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent; hands-on CRM configuration is not required.
- Familiarity with congress and launch webinar engagement, and field activation performance measurement.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, including coordinating agencies and country requests.
