Associate Director, Legal Counsel

About the role

BioMarin is seeking an Associate Director, Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support across the EUCAN region. This senior position will work closely with the Executive Director, Head of EUCAN Legal and other senior leaders to address corporate, technical and commercial legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver legal support for corporate, technical and commercial operations throughout the EUCAN region.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.
• Draft, review and negotiate manufacturing, supply‑chain and related contracts.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as GVP, Deputy General Counsel and International Legal teams.
• Provide general commercial legal guidance as directed.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with a proven track record in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
• Tenacious, quick learner, and willing to take on diverse challenges.
• Ability to develop an extensive range of legal skills in an in‑house environment.
• Strong collaborative mindset to work with experienced legal teams.
