Senior Legal Counsel - Core

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join our fully remote, global legal team supporting a fast‑growing HR technology company. Based in Switzerland, you will provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal guidance while protecting the organization from operational risk.

Key responsibilities

• Advise internal stakeholders across Sales, Customer Experience, Onboarding, Lifecycle and other functions on legal matters.
• Develop and continuously improve contract templates, legal playbooks, SOPs and knowledge resources, especially for employment‑related products.
• Conduct in‑depth legal research on new products, regulatory changes and employment law.
• Own complex legal projects, identify risks and propose scalable solutions.
• Manage escalations, coordinate with external counsel and lead litigation or collections when required.
• Mentor junior legal team members and contribute to Legal Operations, automation and AI initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with several years of experience in corporate, employment and commercial law.
• Autonomous, commercially minded and comfortable working in a distributed, asynchronous environment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to balance business objectives with risk management.
• Experience managing relationships with external counsel and leading cross‑border legal projects.
