Associate – International Corporate Tax (Financial Services)

About the role

We are looking for an (Senior) Associate to join our Financial Services Tax team in Switzerland. You will advise banks, asset managers, wealth managers and other financial institutions on complex cross‑border corporate tax matters, helping them design efficient structures and manage tax risks.

Key responsibilities

• Support Swiss and international financial services clients in navigating complex cross‑border corporate tax issues.
• Analyse regulations, assess tax implications and develop practical solutions for international tax advisory projects.
• Coordinate projects across direct tax, indirect tax and transfer pricing, collaborating with specialists from multiple jurisdictions.
• Participate in corporate restructurings, transactions, investment fund structuring and other challenging engagements.
• Assist in day‑to‑day management of a diverse client portfolio and deliver high‑quality work in a dynamic environment.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Law, Economics or related field, preferably with a focus on Tax or International Tax.
• LL.M. in International Tax is an advantage.
• 1–4 years of experience in international corporate tax or EU tax within a tax advisory firm, law firm or comparable professional services environment.
• Strong interest in international tax developments affecting financial services.
• Analytical mindset with ability to break down complex fact patterns and propose practical solutions.
• Professional fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
