Associate Programme Management Officer – Temporary

About the role

The Secretariat of the Chief Executives Board is seeking an Associate Programme Management Officer on a temporary basis in Geneva. Reporting to the Senior Inter‑agency Adviser, Budget and Finance, the role supports the High‑level Committee on Management (HLCM) and related task forces.

Key responsibilities

• Assist HLCM members in developing, implementing and evaluating programmes and projects, monitoring progress and recommending corrective actions.
• Conduct research, collect and analyse statistical data, and prepare background papers, analytical notes and report sections.
• Support policy coordination and evaluation, including analysis of emerging trends and issues.
• Facilitate workshops, design data‑collection tools, and manage survey initiatives for HLCM networks.
• Provide administrative and substantive support for meetings, conferences and consultative sessions, including agenda preparation, participant identification and logistics.
• Present findings on assigned topics and perform other duties as required.

Required profile

• Understanding of financial management concepts in an inter‑agency environment.
• Experience in programme or project monitoring, data analysis and report writing.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
