About the role

We are seeking an accomplished commercial leader to drive growth, customer engagement, and operational excellence across the Healthcare and Diagnostics market in Western Europe. This senior position combines regional business oversight with hands‑on execution, focusing on strengthening customer relationships, expanding market presence, and delivering sustainable commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Western European Healthcare and Diagnostics commercial organization, setting strategic direction and performance targets.
  • Define and execute regional go‑to‑market strategies to maximise customer coverage, market penetration and long‑term growth.
  • Drive revenue through account prioritisation, sales execution, accurate forecasting, pipeline management and disciplined pricing.
  • Strengthen customer relationships and ensure a seamless experience across the region.
  • Optimise commercial operations using KPI‑driven management and consistent adoption of CRM tools.
  • Oversee distributor and value‑added reseller partnerships, aligning them with commercial objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, finance, legal, operations, service and applications teams to deliver coordinated initiatives.
  • Champion change management, continuous improvement and best practices across multiple countries.

Required profile

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Diagnostics, Healthcare or a related scientific discipline; PhD and/or MBA is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of commercial leadership experience in healthcare, diagnostics, life sciences or similarly regulated industries.
  • Proven success leading direct sales organisations across multiple countries and driving sustainable revenue growth.
  • Strong strategic planning, business development and operational management capabilities.
  • Expertise in forecasting, pipeline management, sales excellence, customer engagement and performance optimisation.
