Audit Expert – Investment Banking Execution Services

About the role

UBS is seeking an experienced Audit Expert to join the Investment Banking Audit team focused on Execution Services and Research activities. The role involves planning, executing and leading audits of high‑volume trading businesses across multiple product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and lead audits, issue assurance and risk assessment reviews, and ensure compliance with internal standards.
• Identify control strengths and weaknesses, highlight emerging risks and escalate significant concerns to senior management.
• Develop audit reports that meet internal reporting and issue disposition standards with minimal reviewer feedback.
• Collaborate with peers across audit teams and maintain constructive relationships with stakeholders, including senior management and regulators.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of auditing experience within the finance sector, preferably in investment banking.
• Strong ability to understand complex investment‑banking processes, challenge the status quo and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and regulators.
• Master’s degree or equivalent in Banking, Finance, Business Administration or Auditing.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Familiarity with investment‑banking products and processes (Equities, ETD, Foreign Exchange, electronic and algorithmic trading).
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem‑solving abilities.
