Avaloq Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Avaloq Consultant to join a leading banking client in Geneva. The role involves translating business requirements into functional specifications and ensuring seamless integration of Avaloq solutions. You will work closely with end‑users and technical teams to deliver high‑quality banking applications.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements and draft functional specifications.
• Conduct functional acceptance testing (FAT) and integration tests for Avaloq solutions.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with end users and provide Level‑3 production support.
• Review existing architectures, propose improvements and technical recommendations.
• Monitor production environments, resolve incidents and ensure solution reliability and availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Avaloq developer (both technical and functional).
• Strong knowledge of the banking domain, especially credit, risk and performance modules.
• Experience in wealth management and banking processes.
• Fluent English; residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate.
