Avaloq Integration Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Avaloq Integration Engineer to join a dynamic technology team within an established international private banking environment. You will design and develop modern integration solutions, contribute to strategic banking technology projects, and collaborate closely with infrastructure and release management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable integration services on the Avaloq Container Reference Platform (ACPR / OpenShift).
• Contribute to strategic integration projects involving bi‑directional, real‑time message streaming.
• Develop and maintain APIs and integration components.
• Diagnose and resolve complex integration issues across multiple systems and channels.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, development and release management teams to ensure end‑to‑end solution quality.
• Support testing activities, releases and production rollouts.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a comparable field.
• Relevant experience in system integration development, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Fluent English with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Hands‑on mentality and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Avaloq (experience or certification is a strong advantage).
• OpenShift.
• OpenAPI.
• Apache Kafka.
• Java and/or .NET.
