AWS DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, automated solutions for both cloud and on‑premise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business owners, analysts, project managers and suppliers to understand use cases.
• Work with solution architecture, IAM, infrastructure and security teams to design appropriate architectures.
• Own technical infrastructure changes, build CI/CD pipelines from scratch, and automate deployments.
• Analyze defects and incidents, identify root causes and implement comprehensive fixes.
• Maintain and troubleshoot micro‑service deployments on EKS/Kubernetes and on‑prem VMs.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience as an AWS and DevOps Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, ELB, Lambda, S3, EBS).
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform, module creation, and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation.
• Extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS and writing YAML deployment files.
• Understanding of on‑prem security, IAM roles, monitoring (CloudWatch) and logging.
• Familiarity with configuration‑management tools such as Puppet or Ansible.
• Ability to adapt quickly, solve problems proactively and communicate effectively.
