Azure Cloud Engineer – Zurich

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement and manage our Microsoft Azure infrastructure. Based in Zurich, you will work within a small, high‑performing IT team supporting business‑critical systems across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage Azure IaaS and PaaS services ensuring high availability and resilience.
• Maintain compute, storage, networking and identity services, and monitor cloud environments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure‑as‑Code.
• Apply security controls, manage Azure AD, RBAC and Conditional Access, and ensure compliance with FINMA and nFADP.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot incidents and maintain documentation.
• Manage virtual networks, Azure Firewall, VPN and Sophos Firewall, and secure network traffic.

Required profile

• 4‑7+ years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering.
• Background in fast‑paced production environments.
• Experience in the financial services sector is a strong advantage.
