Bilingual History and Geography Teacher (French & English)

About the role

Mosaic School is seeking a bilingual History and Geography teacher to deliver the curriculum to P9 pupils in both French and English. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, international community and contribute to high‑quality, inquiry‑based learning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in History and Geography in French and English.
• Prepare students for internal assessments and public examinations, ensuring strong academic progress.
• Contribute to the planning, development and review of the department’s curriculum.
• Provide regular feedback, reports and assessments to students and parents.
• Participate in departmental and whole‑school meetings, professional development and collaborative projects.
• Promote a positive learning environment that reflects Mosaic School’s values and ethos.
• Support school events, trips and extracurricular activities related to History and Geography.

Required profile

• Recognised secondary teaching degree (PGCE, M.Ed., etc.).
• Minimum three years recent teaching experience, preferably in inquiry‑ and project‑based settings.
• Culturally sensitive, collaborative and able to build strong relationships with colleagues, parents and students.
• Self‑motivated, organised, reflective and flexible.

• Proficient use of educational technology to enhance engagement and support home‑school communication.
