Broker – Property Insurance

About the role

Marsh is looking for a Broker to join its Bowring Marsh specialist wholesale broking division in Zurich. You will place and manage a portfolio of worldwide property placements across the Swiss and European insurance markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage medium to large property accounts, negotiate terms and pricing with insurers.
• Develop relationships with Swiss/European underwriters and support market relationship activities.
• Handle strategic client relationships and provide technical advice to retail offices.
• Identify new property business opportunities and conduct marketing trips to major insurance hubs.
• Oversee post‑placement activities, including policy wording, endorsements and billing.
• Assist management with monthly and quarterly reports.

Required profile

• Commercial apprenticeship or equivalent education.
• 5–7 years of experience in insurance (risk management, brokerage or re/insurance), preferably property.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Proven record of high‑quality client service.
• Flexibility to adapt to different approaches.
