Business Analyst – Blockchain & FinTech

About the role

Blockstream is seeking a Business Analyst to work with banking and institutional clients on blockchain and fintech projects. This client‑facing position involves gathering requirements, documenting processes, and translating business needs into technical specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements from banking and financial services clients.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and map business processes related to digital assets and payments.
• Create functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support user acceptance testing and develop test cases.
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams and document solution designs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance or related field.
• 0‑2 years of experience as a Business Analyst (internships count).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Fluency in French and English; additional Swiss languages a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, Google Workspace, Confluence.
• Experience with process‑mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart or BPMN.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
