Business Analyst – Financial Services

About the role

Join Adnovum's Financial Services Market Unit to analyze complex systems and shape digital solutions for leading clients such as CSS, TWINT, and UBS. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that requirements are clearly defined and delivered.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to develop and describe business use cases.
• Analyze business processes and organizational structures to derive meaningful requirements.
• Assess and validate solution designs against project specifications.
• Specify complex technical requirements and align them with stakeholders.
• Design solution concepts together with developers, architects, and UX experts.
• Coordinate and document requirements using Jira and Confluence.
• Support implementation of solution designs throughout the development lifecycle.
• Act as a key liaison between clients and development teams, communicating change requests across stakeholder groups.

Required profile

• University degree in computer science, business informatics or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in requirements engineering or related roles.
• Independent working style with a proactive, analytical mindset.
• Proven consulting and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluency in German and English; French is a plus.
• Experience in the financial services industry.

Required skills

• SQL knowledge.
• Familiarity with Agile methods such as SAFe and Scrum.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence for requirements management.
