Business Development Manager – Biotech & Pharma

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth for a fast‑growing biotech organisation in Switzerland. This role combines scientific expertise with commercial strategy to identify and secure new opportunities across the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Swiss biotech and biopharma market.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers.
• Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Represent the organisation at conferences, trade shows, and client meetings.
• Partner with marketing teams to enhance brand awareness and market presence.
• Develop a deep understanding of the company’s innovative service offerings and technologies.

Required profile

• PhD in a bioscience‑related discipline.
• Strong interest in combining scientific expertise with commercial strategy.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Confidence to engage with senior scientists and decision‑makers.
• Proactive, results‑driven approach to business development.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and industry events.
