Business Development Manager – EU & Switzerland

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development professional to lead the full sales cycle with institutional clients across the EU and Switzerland. You will engage from the first conversation through term‑sheet negotiation, working closely with founders and internal teams to close high‑value contracts that move the business forward.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end sales process with hedge funds, family offices, asset managers and fintech founders.
• Conduct in‑depth discussions on compliance, reporting formats and custody arrangements specific to digital assets.
• Negotiate term sheets and contractual terms while aligning with product, legal and compliance teams.
• Stay up‑to‑date with EU MiCA and Swiss FINMA SRO regulatory frameworks and apply this knowledge in client conversations.
• Leverage an existing EU institutional network to identify and close six‑ to seven‑figure contracts.

Required profile

• Proven track record closing institutional deals for platforms serving professional capital (prime brokers, custodians, fintech infrastructure, regulated VASPs).
• Ability to discuss technical custody arrangements without needing translation for internal teams.
• Familiarity with MiCA and FINMA SRO regulations, or a strong willingness to master them.
• Fluency in English (mandatory); German strongly preferred; French a plus.
• Experience across at least two EU markets, with DACH preferred.
