Store Manager – Luxury Retail

About the role

As the Store Manager for Hermès in Zürich, you will lead a multicultural team to deliver personalized, exceptional service while growing a local and international client base. You will be responsible for all aspects of store performance, from sales and clienteling to operations and visual standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the store team, set objectives and conduct performance reviews.
• Maintain a regular presence on the sales floor, support staff and ensure high‑quality customer interactions.
• Oversee client database quality, plan targeted clienteling actions and organize customer events.
• Define purchasing strategy with the Product Offer Department and place quarterly orders based on sales analysis.
• Optimize stock management, goods flow and inventory control while minimizing markdowns.
• Ensure the store’s visual and physical condition meets Hermès standards and propose maintenance improvements.
• Participate in Swiss and Polish retail community meetings and report on store activities.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of experience managing a commercial entity and leading diverse teams.
• Proven ability to develop a demanding local and international clientele.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills in French, German and English.
• High quality standards, entrepreneurial spirit and sense of humor.
