Business Information Security Officer – Private Banking

About the role

Barclays is looking for a Business Information Security Officer to support the Private Bank and Wealth Management (PBWM) business line in Geneva. You will act as the primary liaison between business, technology and security functions, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information while driving the bank’s cyber risk posture.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture security requirements for business processes and IT projects.
• Conduct risk assessments, identify cyber threats, and recommend mitigation strategies to senior stakeholders.
• Develop, implement, test and monitor security controls across the bank’s operations.
• Handle Data Loss Prevention (DLP) alerts and manage Local Access Management (LAM) requests.
• Assist in the creation and enforcement of security policies and procedures aligned with the risk management framework.

Required profile

• Significant experience in cyber information security within the financial services sector.
• Proven track record of implementing and managing cyber risk management processes and tools.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities with experience in systems audit, internal controls or security consulting.
• Familiarity with Swiss regulatory requirements governing cyber security.
