Senior Front Arena Developer – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for a senior professional to join its Front Arena team in Zurich. You will be responsible for implementing new structured products across the full value chain, from front‑office sales and trading to mid‑office functions, ensuring accurate product representation and lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities

• Customize and extend the Front Arena platform to deliver new risk and valuation capabilities.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust functionalities integrated across trading and back‑office ecosystems.
• Lead integration efforts between Front Arena and upstream/downstream systems such as pricing, market data, and risk engines.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and resolve complex production incidents efficiently.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold quality, security, and architectural standards.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in Front Arena roles supporting trading, mid‑office, valuation, and risk.
• 8+ years of hands‑on development with Front Arena AEL, ACM, and ADFL.
• Strong understanding of capital markets, especially structured products and equity derivatives.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders.
• Comfortable working under pressure and willing to work on Swiss public holidays when foreign markets are open.
