Business & Trade Media Relations Manager – EAME

About the role

Caterpillar is seeking a Business & Trade Media Relations Manager for Europe, Africa and the Middle East (EAME). In this position you will shape and execute media strategies that raise the visibility of Caterpillar’s products, services and innovations across business and trade media.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic media‑relations activities across the EAME region, aligning with corporate priorities.
• Develop and implement integrated media plans that generate earned coverage and support executive visibility.
• Collaborate with internal subject‑matter experts and senior leaders to identify compelling storytelling opportunities.
• Act as a trusted communications advisor, shaping proactive and reactive media approaches.
• Manage media engagement, monitor coverage, and analyse results to refine tactics.
• Plan and execute media events, press briefings and other outreach initiatives.

Required profile

• Valid Swiss work permit or Swiss/EU‑25/EFTA citizenship.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time globally.
• Availability for a full‑time, five‑day onsite schedule.
