C++ Software Engineer – Medical Imaging (Remote)

About the role

CASCINATION is seeking an experienced C++ Software Engineer to develop and maintain the core software behind its CAS‑One IR image‑guided navigation platforms. The role involves advanced medical technology, including real‑time tracking, computer vision and 3D rendering, and requires close collaboration with software, systems and clinical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core C++ software for image‑guided navigation platforms.
• Own technical areas such as real‑time 3D tracking, computer vision and GPU‑accelerated rendering.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable code and debug performance issues.
• Collaborate with software, systems and clinical teams to deliver safe, high‑quality solutions.
• Document work according to medical device regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional C++ development experience.
• Strong object‑oriented design knowledge and proficiency with Git.
• Hands‑on experience in real‑time 3D tracking, computer vision, or GPU‑accelerated rendering.
• Professional English communication skills and ability to work independently.
