Chief Accountant (Part-time, 20h/week)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Chief Accountant to join our finance team in Höri. Working 20 hours per week, you will ensure accurate bookkeeping, timely month‑end and year‑end closings, and support the group’s financial reporting and tax compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate tax filings and declarations (VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax).
• Execute group consolidation and produce internal management reports.
• Assist the budgeting process and maintain the internal control system.
• Support local HR tasks such as contract management, master‑data maintenance and external payroll processing.
• Continuously improve financial processes and workflows.

Required profile

• Several years of accounting experience, preferably in a trading or commercial environment.
• Qualified as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or equivalent.
• Strong numerical aptitude and interest in controlling topics.
• Structured, independent, and highly accurate work style.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
