Chief Executive Officer – Digital Assets

About the role

The client is an established international digital‑assets and payments group seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead its regulated European operation. The CEO will be based in Vaduz, with the possibility of a Swiss‑based candidate commuting three days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the European business and execute its growth strategy.
• Maintain constructive relationships with regulators and external stakeholders.
• Ensure strong governance, financial discipline and regulatory compliance.
• Develop the organisation’s products, partnerships and market presence.
• Build and lead a high‑performing local management team.
• Represent the business at board, regulatory and industry level.
• Oversee operational resilience, risk management and client protection.

Required profile

• Senior executive experience in digital assets, fintech, payments, banking or another regulated financial‑services environment.
• Deep understanding of European financial regulation, governance and crypto‑asset markets.
• Credible regulatory standing and strong commercial judgement.
• Proven ability to operate within an international group and, preferably, prior board or regulated‑entity leadership experience.
• German‑language capability and experience in Liechtenstein, Switzerland or the DACH region is advantageous.
