About the role
The United Nations Information Service (UNIS) in Geneva is seeking a senior professional to lead its Public Information Section. Reporting to the Director of UNIS and, through that line, to the Department of Global Communications and the United Nations Office at Geneva, the incumbent will oversee the Radio, Television and Webcast Section. The position is based in Geneva, Switzerland, and plays a key part in delivering UN public information to global audiences.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the Radio, Television and Webcast Section.
- Report to the Director of UNIS and coordinate with the Department of Global Communications and the United Nations Office at Geneva.
Required profile
- P5 level senior professional within the United Nations system.
- Proven ability to supervise and manage media sections.
