Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

About the role

Ephelia Group is looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer to steer the company’s transformation into an AI‑First Financial Infrastructure provider. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CTO will define the technical strategy, lead AI and blockchain initiatives, and ensure the platform meets performance, security, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the executive team to craft a long‑term technology vision and architecture roadmap.
• Lead design and development of core fintech infrastructure, emphasizing blockchain, tokenisation, payments and e‑money services.
• Own the AI transformation, embedding AI and agentic AI across products, infrastructure and operations.
• Set technical direction for blockchain and DLT integrations, ensuring institutional‑grade security and compliance.
• Build, mentor and manage engineering and IT teams in a remote‑delivery environment, promoting agile and DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate with product and client teams to align technology development with business requirements.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in fintech or related financial services.
• Deep expertise in blockchain architecture, tokenisation and distributed ledger technologies.
• Strong track record of driving AI adoption at scale.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to influence executive stakeholders.
