About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking motivated undergraduate or recent graduate students to join its Climate Action Unit in Geneva. This internship supports IOM’s evidence‑based approach to migration in the context of climate change and environmental degradation.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in research and data collection on climate‑related migration trends.
- Support the preparation of reports, policy briefs, and communication materials.
- Contribute to the development of evidence‑based recommendations for vulnerable populations.
- Collaborate with IOM teams and external partners on climate‑focused projects.
Required profile
- Age between 20 and 36 years.
- Less than two years of relevant work experience.
- Enrolled in the final academic year of a bachelor’s program or graduated within the last 12 months.
- Holding a scholarship, sponsorship, or internship requirement related to international organizations.
- Strong interest in climate change, migration, and environmental issues.
