Clinical Project Manager - Hybrid

About the role

IQVIA is looking for a Clinical Project Manager (hybrid) who acts as a Project Lead for clinical studies. The role works with clinical teams to deliver studies faster and to meet contractual requirements in line with SOPs, policies and practices. The Project Lead runs their own studies, focusing on delivery, productivity and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in bid defense presentations with Business Development and lead them for smaller, less complex regional studies.
• Develop integrated study management plans and deliver clinical studies or assigned portions of them, optimising speed, quality and cost.
• Set objectives for the core project team and sub-teams, monitor progress and report proactively to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage risk, contingencies and problems, and plan corrective and preventative actions.
• Build and lead the cross-functional project team, ensure its financial success and forecast ways to accelerate revenue.
• Manage change control, identify lessons learned and act as primary or backup contact with the customer and with vendors.
• Mentor less experienced team members, give performance feedback to line managers and adopt corporate initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field.
• 5 years of prior relevant experience, including more than 1 year of project management experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Knowledge of clinical trial conduct, ICH GCP and relevant local regulations, with broad protocol knowledge and therapeutic knowledge desired.
• Good understanding of the competitive environment and ability to demonstrate value through IQVIA solutions.
