Cluster Reservations Supervisor – Zurich

About the role

We are rebuilding our local Reservations department in Zurich and need a Cluster Reservations Supervisor to lead the daily operations from day one. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will ensure smooth processing of individual and group bookings while shaping processes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Handle individual and group reservations across all booking channels and maintain accurate guest data.
• Coordinate the day‑to‑day operations of the Reservations team, ensuring timely and reliable responses.
• Develop and implement processes, standards and workflows for the new department.
• Train and onboard new team members and conduct regular on‑the‑job coaching.
• Manage room allotments, work closely with Revenue Management and Sales, and drive upselling of rooms and services.
• Oversee group bookings, invoices and the flow of information between departments.
• Maintain guest profiles in Opera Cloud and enhance Guest Recognition programmes.

Required profile

• Solid experience in hotel reservations or front office, with a commercial mindset.
• Hands‑on attitude combined with the ability to keep an overview and set priorities.
• Motivation to build a new department and improve existing ways of working.
• Strong guest focus, capable of identifying upselling opportunities.
• Fluent communication in German and English.

Required skills

• Opera Cloud reservation system.
• Property Management System (PMS) usage.
