About the role

PathoMatch AI is building an AI‑driven platform that matches pathogen genomes with precision biologic treatments. As a Co‑Founder and Lead Clinical Microbiologist, you will ensure the scientific and regulatory soundness of our 24‑hour "Match‑to‑Bedside" workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret AI‑generated "phagograms" and genomic matches to approve personalized phage cocktails for Swiss magistral preparations.
• Collaborate with the AI team to identify age‑accelerating bacteria and design preventative microbiome‑tuning protocols.
• Serve as the clinical liaison with Swissmedic and hospital laboratory directors to standardise the rapid matching workflow.
• Oversee quality control of synthetic phage recipes, ensuring sterility and endotoxin levels meet ICU standards.

Required profile

• PhD or MD in Clinical Microbiology, Infectious Diseases, or a related field (Swiss laboratory experience a strong plus).
• Passion for replacing traditional 72‑hour susceptibility tests with rapid NGS‑ and AI‑based solutions.
• Interest in microbiome‑driven longevity and familiarity with information‑theory approaches to aging.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining synthetic phage matches to diverse stakeholders.
