Commis de rang – Service de restaurant de luxe

About the role

The Woodward Geneva is seeking a Commis de rang to join the team at Le Jardinier, its flagship restaurant. You will act as an ambassador of the hotel’s luxury service, ensuring seamless interaction between guests and the kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate orders between the dining room and the kitchen.
• Assist in the set‑up and maintenance of service stations.
• Support the chef de rang during service.
• Set and clear tables efficiently.
• Help with the preparation and follow‑up of client invoices.

Required profile

• Diploma in restaurant or hotel management, or equivalent hospitality school qualification.
• Experience in a similar role within a starred restaurant or a 5‑star palace.
• Strong knowledge of gastronomic culture, detail‑oriented and team‑focused.
• Fluent in French and English (reading, writing, speaking); a third language is a plus.
• Available to start as soon as possible; no housing provided.
