About the role
The Communication Manager will serve as the central point of contact for all communication activities within Imerys Graphite & Carbon, supporting both internal and external audiences. Working closely with senior leadership and the global communications team, the role ensures consistent messaging aligned with the Imerys Group framework.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison for all communication needs, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies, including messaging, interviews, change‑management tools, and employee information cascades.
- Manage press relations and crisis communications following the Group’s protocols.
- Design and execute customer‑focused communication campaigns in partnership with Marketing, covering trade shows, events, advertising, literature, website content, and surveys.
- Advise senior leaders and the leadership team on communication best practices and participate in regional decision‑making forums.
- Support other departments (Sales, Business Development, R&D, Operations, Safety) with tailored communication initiatives.
- Collaborate with the broader Imerys Communication community to ensure alignment of messages and activities.
- Oversee management‑level communications such as quarterly leadership calls, communication packs, newsletters, and global forums.
Required profile
- Creative, self‑driven professional with deep expertise in corporate reputation, product communications, internal communications, and governance.
- Strong understanding of industry and business practices relevant to mineral‑based specialty solutions.
- Ability to think globally and interact confidently with senior executives.
- Proven experience in resource management and coordinating multi‑disciplinary communication projects.
