Communications & Content Manager (Bilingual English/French)

About the role

WaterBear, a streaming platform for impact‑driven documentary films, is relaunching its editorial line and OTT service. We are seeking a bilingual Communications & Content Manager to shape our voice, grow our creator community, and drive the multi‑channel launch of the new platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the social‑media editorial calendar across Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube, including building WaterBear’s YouTube channel from scratch.
• Write, design and send monthly newsletters, manage onboarding sequences and campaign communications.
• Lead the multi‑channel launch plan for the platform relaunch (social, email, press, partner outreach).
• Identify, engage and expand the network of filmmakers, creators and impact storytellers.
• Serve as the primary contact for co‑branded content and partner amplifications across OTT and broadcast.
• Monitor engagement metrics and provide regular performance summaries.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in communications, content management or social media, preferably in media, impact or cultural sectors.
• Full professional proficiency in English and French.
• Strong editorial autonomy with the ability to take a brief to a published piece independently.
• Proven experience managing a YouTube channel, including strategy, workflow and audience growth.
• Familiarity with streaming, OTT or documentary landscapes is a plus.
